As the company's logo states, Hewes "invented the boat that invented the sport." Company founder Bob Hewes built one of the very first fiberglass shallow water skiffs to appear on the market back in the 1960s, and Hewes boats remain at the top of the pack to this day.

With no-wood construction, and innovative design features like a sea chest for distributing seawater to live wells, Hewes boats are serious fishing platforms.
