We Didn't Just Push The Envelope - We Tore It Open

The company was formed in 1984 when brothers Troy and Scott Deal purchased a hull and deck mold from a physician in Fort Pierce, Florida. Early on the boats were only sold directly from the factory to professional guides and hard-core fishing enthusiasts. As the demand grew Maverick acquired Miami based Hewes Boats to gain access to a strong dealer network.

Recognized for their advanced technology and innovation, all models in Maverick's 2004 line-up are manufactured utilizing their unique VARIS R (Vacuum Assisted Resin Infusion System) technology. All Maverick, Hewes and Pathfinder boats are manufactured by craftsman with a commitment to quality, reminiscent of times long gone. Today their boats are state-of-the-art-fishing machines.
